Tom Chadney

Tom formed Chasing Gold Racing Club back in January 2006. He had been involved in racing for over 30 years, initially as an owner on the Flat but soon discovered the delights of National Hunt racing. He owned lots of horses over jumps with over 60 winners. On retirement from business he decided to start a racing club so that all those people unable or unwilling to go into ownership themselves had an opportunity to enjoy the fun.

It has been very successful providing its members with the winners of over 70 races and £500,000 in prize money. Tom devotes his time to finding the right horses for the club and providing them with a service second to none so they can really enjoy all the thrills and spills of jump racing.

Val Chadney

Val, married to Tom, is an organiser and has expertise in IT so she has been able to set up and maintain the Chasing Gold website as well as run all the administration for the Racing Club. She shares Tom’s passion for horse racing and football and accompanies him to most events. She also enjoys playing golf and is a member at North Hants Golf Club.

Val has two married sons in their thirties who also like to visit White Hart Lane whenever they get the opportunity, and they also enjoy horse racing. She also has two grandchildren and a dog and a puppy who are taking up more of her time!
